The company-operated stores number 1,434 restaurants(mostly in U.S. and Canada) while 10,198 were owned by franchisees. The company is expecting to spend $170 to $190 million for their fiscal 2009 to develop new restaurants, for their restaurant reimaging program, and to make improvements on restaurants they acquire.
